I Love Gamefly
So after a long, fun, and sometimes stressful time in online gaming, I’ve come back to my roots. Yup, that’s right. I’m a console whore now. After the computer upgrade, the video card upgrade, and getting two systems (xbox360 and DS lite), I’m more than a little bit low on the normal cash flow.
I have to catch up with like 4 years of missed console games though, so I had to figure out some way to ensure a steady diet of new games. Apparently the solution was easier than I thought. GameFly is the Netflix of videogames - you choose what games you want to rent, they ship them out to you within 2-4 business days, and you play them for as long as you want.
I’ve never used this kind of thing before, so I was worried that the games would be fucked up (similar to some of the crappier rental places). Well, I signed up last week, they shipped the games out over the weekend, and we got them today.
Both disks were in great condition (much much better than rentals or pre owned games normally are), they got here quick, and if we really dig any of the games we can keep them for a pretty fair price. So I’m going to give Gamefly two thumbs up.
We have the two game plan which lets us rent two games at a time. It runs us 21.95/month (which is definiately a better alternative than buying all of these games). They have a one game plan for 14.95, and after you’ve been with Gamefly for 60 days you can take out 3 and 4 game plans.
You can get a month trial as well, which is pretty spiffy. This is one of those services that I just can’t say enough about because it’s awesome and saving me a fuckton of money.
Btw - if you have any suggestions for Xbox 360 or DS / GBA games that I should be checking out, please leave a comment!
Also, for putting up with my rambling this long, here’s some tits and ass for you courtsey of Erotic BPM:

Oh how I miss the days when 1) I had that much cash to buy games 2) I had time to play that many games!
I still dabble when I can, but it’s good to see there are others out there to carry the torch of my earlier days. And, yes, the T & A at the end was a nice payoff.

:)
I’m trying out a work smarter and not harder philosophy, and part of that is making me get distracted by a console so I’m not tempted to stay up til retarded times working anymore.
I’ve been so busy between a crazy vacation but I was wondering where you got to.
Of course, finding a damn DS was a pain. Wal-mart ended up cancelling my original order because they don’t take foreign credit cards (and most of my clients pay me via a Philippines electronic payment place similar to paypal) so the boyfriend ended up having to go on a quest to find one.
I learned one lesson from it - don’t trust the online inventory bullshit that those chain stores say! I ended up sending him out to a Circuit City that claimed it had them in stock and they didn’t. He ended up hunting one down at Toys R U, but damn it’s worth it (and I have animal crossing and FF 3 to distract me now!).
After solely online gaming since like, 2002, I forgot just how much fun I had with console games. I think this is gonna be a good year.

I have an original XBox that keeps me busy enough these days when I do get a moment to play. I have seen the Gamefly ads on TV and your evaluation does seem to confirm what’s advertised. 5 years ago I probably would have been ALL over it for sure!
Yeah, I took a hiatus from adult web surfing for awhile after continuing to strike out in my quest to find a short haired geeky/nerdy webgirl. I usually get frustrated, swear I’m going to stop looking, but let a few weeks go by and I’m back at it.
As for tracking stuff down in the Circuit City/Best Buy/Etc circle of electronics stores, I’m right there with you. I went into Best Buy last year to pick something up after buying online and the dude behind the counter says, “Do we do that here?” Um, yes.
It doesn’t seem like it should be that complicated.
Anyway, back to my search for types of porn only myself and probably one other person is looking for. Take care and keep on posting!

Lol yeah, the chain stores don’t seem to hire the most..ah.. knowledgeable people in the world. I can see why these things are selling like hotcakes though, they’re damn sweet hehe.
And I have been trying to keep an eye out for ya, I was doing some work with webcam stuff for awhile but any of the promising chicks came off as complete damn ditzes in chat.

Many thanks for keeping an eye out. It’s been a bad week since my favorite short haired mainstream pornstar went long, but I’ll find some way to press on despite my terrible loss.
Later!
